Tammara worked has worked on two clients projects recently. One was a large house in Totterridge where Tammara produced two very different amazing finishes. Tammara is extremely talented in her craft. The luminous plaster walls she created gave my recent interior design project a dramatic background to what, I’m proud to say, is a strikingly beautiful and completely unique interior. I was working on a newly-built private spa building by a poolside which needed a wall finish capable of withstanding moisture from the wet areas (wet room/bathroom/pool) as well as heat from a sauna. I also needed a surface which would be tough and not require much maintenance so the polished plaster seemed to tick all those boxes. 

Our collaboration started with my client and I visiting Tammara’s studio and looking through examples of her work. We discussed the variants, anti-crack system, waxes and colours and ordered several samples. This was followed by her on-site survey and works on around 40m2 of wall space, which took Tammara and her team only 5 days to finish. Even though, due to other commitments, I was away during her application process, she kept me updated on the progress daily with videos, photos and live chat which allowed us to discuss any small details when necessary.

I was very impressed with the quality of her work and my clients are thrilled with the result. Tammara’s a true artisan in wall finishes. She’s not only very skilled, creative and knowledgeable about her craft but she also has much passion for perfection, which makes her projects extra special. I was recommended to Tammara by chance really as she had parked in my office car park to meet with someone. Instantly I loved how she thought and how artistic she was.

At that point I was one of the owners of a large agency in Stanmore called Preston Bennett where I ran the new homes department - we were in the middle of selling to  Hamptons international part of the countrywide empire. I had just bought a new house in mill hill and required several rooms being decorated in designs I had in my mind already. However Tammara took my ideas and made them not only a reality but even better than I had ever hoped for... her training, experience and being a natural at what she does was clear to see... and she loves what she does. Tammara did what the builders said was impossible when she transformed 14 doors from a horrid standard yellow light wood finish to an amazing grey with the Wood detail and knots all carefully and artistically drawn on to appear as real as you could hope for - people still have no idea it's painted and not natural.

Tammara then created a games room where two of the four walls look naturally bricked with grout and the rustic colours you associate with a brick walled finish. However there was no brick, tile or wallpaper involved... what an artist! People assume (even after touching the wall) that I used real bricks... I believe she used polished plaster however whatever it is the finish is amazing and better than I could conceive when we started! Tammara also painted feature walls around the house, using glittered and textured Italian special paint and still people comment on it and again assume it's material such as wallpaper!

Tammara was always on time, worked all day and I believe was very competitive! Always available on the phone and I can guarantee you that Tammara will be my first call when I move or update in the future!

I absolutely love my polished plaster bathroom. I was looking for something unique, with character and hard wearing and it certainly ticks all the boxes.
